Triple Gold Achievement​

Patricia Fortunato

In 2019 Patricia Fortunato achieved her gold status in 3 areas of skating - Skills, Dance, and Interpretive. 
​Patricia was on and off the ice at the age of 7/8 and began skating at the age of 9/10. She had the goal of becoming a triple gold skater and began working towards that goal until it was "under her belt".
Patricia is now a coach with the Summerland Skating Club and continues to skate and compete in the Adult category.

2019 Okanagan Region CanSkater of the Year Award

Kate Dodsworth

​Kate Dodsworth won the Skate Canada 2019 Okanagan Region Canskater Award.
Kate has worked incredibly hard during her skating sessions and along side her coaches all season long and with a constant smile on her face. Her hard work not only paid off in the award itself but also in her improved skating abilities and performance.
